Southern Arizona Arts Guild Announces Art Boot Camp for Teens at SAAG Gallery

The Southern Arizona Arts Guild (SAAG) invites young creatives to take part in a dynamic week of artistic exploration during its Art Boot Camp for Teens, taking place June 15–19, 2026, at the SAAG Gallery in Joesler Village.

Designed for middle and high school students, this immersive program offers participants the opportunity to experience a wide variety of artistic mediums in a supportive, hands-on environment. Students will attend two art classes each day, learning directly from accomplished SAAG artists across disciplines such as painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, and more.

The program is ideal for both beginners and more experienced young artists, encouraging creativity, skill-building, and self-expression. Throughout the week, students will develop a diverse body of work while gaining confidence in their artistic abilities.

The week will culminate in a special student exhibition and reception at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, where family and friends are invited to celebrate the participants’ accomplishments and view their completed artwork.

Located in the heart of Joesler Village, the SAAG Gallery provides a vibrant and inspiring setting for creative learning. All classes are taught by juried SAAG artists, reinforcing the Guild’s mission to support arts education and foster a thriving local arts community.

The cost for the full week is $250, which includes instruction for 10 classes.
