Vice President

This is a volunteer position that can be split into two Co-Vice President positions.  The office of the Vice President is filled by election of the current SAAG membership in March.

Below is a list of tasks for this position.

• In the absence of the President, assume the duties of the President

• Attend Executive Board of Directors and monthly Board of Directors meetings and cast one vote on matters of business

• Assist the President in all SAAG activities at the President’s request

• Assist in designating Chairpersons to serve on the Board of Directors

• Uphold SAAG Bylaws and assist in changes to the Bylaws as needed

• Sign official SAAG documents as needed

• Update Policies and Procedures for the Gallery as needed by the Executive Board and Board of Directors

• Oversee the Marketing Branch of the Board of Directors including, but not limited to, the Guild Marketing Chair, Website & Calendar Manager, Advertising Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Newsletter Coordinator, and Center Marketing Coordinator

• Collaborate with all members of the Executive Board and Board of Directors to ensure the success of the Guild and Gallery

• Perform duties incidental to the office of the Vice President

• Orient the new Vice President as needed

• Actively recruit new members of all ages and walks of life
