Raffle Coordinator

This is a volunteer position and can be split into two Co-Coordinator positions.

Below is a list of tasks for this position.

  • Solicit art supply stores for gift certificates for monthly meetings

  • Develop an annual Raffle budget and submit it to the Guild Membership Chair

  • Sell raffle tickets at in-person monthly meetings and conduct the drawing

  • Distribute gift certificates (one $25 Gallery gift certificate and one $25 Art Supply Store gift certificate) to winners

  • Count raffle sales and give the monies to the Bookkeeper for accounting purposes (funds are used to pay for the July monthly meeting which is a Membership Social)

  • Develop training materials for the Raffle Coordinator position and train a member as a backup

  • Actively recruit new members of all ages and walks of life

  • Report to Guild Membership Chair
