Donations Coordinator

This is a volunteer position and can be split into two Co-Coordinator positions.

Below is a list of tasks for this position.

  • Actively explore various donation opportunities for SAAG including, but not limited to, classes/workshops, volunteer time, or monetary gifts to the arts in Southern Arizona

  • Coordinate with the Guild Outreach Chair, Bookkeeper, and Treasurer as needed for monetary donations to the Guild and Gallery

  • Manage and keep records of all donations given and accepted by the Guild

  • Explore and apply for grants

  • Research endowments and planned giving opportunities

  • Collaborate with the Scholarship, Friends of SAAG, and Emerging Artist Coordinators

  • Work with the Advertising Coordinator, Newsletter Coordinator, and Center Marketing Coordinator to create flyers and information about Donation opportunities for members, non-members/patrons, and the public

  • Develop training materials for the Donations Coordinator position and train a member as a backup

  • Actively recruit new members of all ages and walks of life

  • Report to the Guild Outreach Chair
