This position is appointed by the Executive Board of Directors and its term is indefinite.  

Below is a list of tasks for this position.

  • Bring a historical perspective to the Board

    • Keep records of past Board of Directors and Executive Board of Directors meetings

    • Assist the President and Vice President in SAAG activities at the President’s request

  • Attend Executive Board of Directors and monthly Board of Directors meetings and cast one vote on matters of business

  • Assist in designating Chairpersons to serve on the Board of Directors

  • Uphold SAAG Bylaws and assist in changes to the Bylaws as needed

  • Sign official SAAG documents as needed

  • Oversee the Membership Branch of the Board of Directors including, but not limited to, the Guild Membership Chair, Welcome Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Programs Coordinator, Raffle Coordinator, Events Coordinator, and the Elections Nominating Committee

  • Collaborate with all members of the Executive Board and Board of Directors to ensure the success of the Guild and Gallery

  • Actively recruit new members of all ages and walks of life
