Programs Coordinator

This is a volunteer position and can be split into two Co-Coordinator positions.

Below is a list of tasks for this position.

  • Maintain and update an annual Program Calendar

  • Coordinate and schedule programs for ten Member Meetings (4 critiques, 6 programs, no programs in July or December) 

  • Solicit new speakers or presenters 

  • Communicate with the speakers about their presentation and any A/V requirements 

  • Coordinate with the Operations & Property Manager and Volunteer Coordinator to help with onsite A/V, chair and meeting set up 

  • Coordinate with the Website & Calendar Manager, Advertising Coordinator, and Newsletter Coordinator to advertise Programs to SAAG members

  • Develop an annual Programs budget and submit it to the Guild Membership Chair

  • Arrange necessary payments for presenters and other costs with the Bookkeeper

  • Develop training materials for the Program Coordinator position and train a member as a backup

  • Actively recruit new members of all ages and walks of life

  • Report to Guild Membership Chair
