Elections Nominating Committee

This committee is made up of members in good standing.  The Committee meets in January and concludes their work after the Executive Board elections in March.

Below is a list of tasks for this position.

• Actively contact, interview, and nominate current members to run for positions on the Executive Board (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer)

• Review the duties of each Executive Board position with members who are interested 

• Present a slate of nominated officers to the membership at the February meeting and accept nominations from the floor

• Coordinate with the Website & Calendar Manager to send out an email reminder to all members about the March monthly member meeting and details on how to vote for the nominees

• Hold elections at the March monthly meeting

• Count all ballots/votes and declare a winner

• Actively recruit new members of all ages and walks of life
