POS & Inventory Manager
This is a paid position and is currently filled.
Below is a list of tasks for this position.
Manage and update the Square POS (Point of Sale) system and the Artist Inventory Workbook system
Coordinate with the Merchandising Manager to get contact information for the Gallery artists in the current session
Provide artists with instructions for the Artist Inventory Workbook
Collect artist’s inventory changes and update the Square POS and Inventory systems three times per week or as needed for special events or during the holiday seasons

Perform end of session cleanups and coordinate with Bookkeeper to archive old records and replace with new hardcopies
Manage and develop embedded scripts and Admin Dashboard scripts to allow for easier uploads and syncing between the Square POS and Inventory Systems
Work with the Reconciliation Manager to apply corrections to the Square POS and Inventory Systems as needed
Communicate reconciliation corrections with artists as needed
Coordinate with the Bookkeeper and the Gallery Manager on questions, concerns, or issues that may arise with the Square POS and Inventory Systems
Act as Gallery Tech and Artist Inventory Support
Develop training material for all Gallery artists on the Square POS and Inventory systems
Develop training materials for the POS Inventory Manager position and train a member as a backup
Actively recruit new members of all ages and walks of life
Report to the Gallery Manager
