Treasurer

This is a volunteer position that can be split into two Co-Treasurer positions.  The office of the Treasurer is filled by election of the current SAAG membership in March.

Below is a list of tasks for this position.

  • Attend Executive Board of Directors and monthly Board of Directors meetings and cast one vote on matters of business

  • Manage all SAAG funds

    • Maintain current and accurate records of all SAAG accounts

    • Prepare a Monthly Financial Report for the Board of Directors

    • Prepare an Annual Financial Report and present to the current membership during the March Annual Meeting

  • Collaborate with the Bookkeeper on matters of financial business

  • Sign official SAAG documents as needed

  • Assist in designating Chairpersons to serve on the Board of Directors

  • Uphold SAAG Bylaws and assist in changes to the Bylaws as needed

  • Oversee the Outreach Branch of the Board of Directors including, but not limited to, the Guild Outreach Chair, Workshop Manager, Exhibits Coordinator, Scholarships Coordinator, Friends of SAAG Coordinator, Emerging Artists Coordinator, and Donations Coordinator 

  • Collaborate with all members of the Executive Board and Board of Directors to ensure the success of the Guild and Gallery

  • Perform duties incidental to the office of the Treasurer

  • Orient the new Treasurer as needed

  • Actively recruit new members of all ages and walks of life
