Artist Bio

Erin Newman is a paper artist whose intricate quilled creations prove that simple strips of paper can become extraordinary works of art. Working from her signature philosophy — It's All Paper — Erin has spent over a decade exploring just how far paper can take her.

Her journey began with paper quilling in 2016 and has grown to include handmade books and journals crafted from recycled books, beautiful Japanese and handmade papers, and fabrics. She also dabbles in Cartonnage, the art of decorative box making. Each discipline reflects her belief that paper is one of the most versatile and underestimated artistic mediums there is.

Today Erin sells her work in galleries and teaches workshops, welcoming beginners and curious crafters alike into the surprisingly addictive world of paper art.
