Artist Statement
As a creative individual, I explore the intersection of acrylic paint and paint brush, airbrush and airbrush painting, sculpture on canvas, and casting sculpture. I identify with nature and imagination to provoke thought and evoke emotions. My work is grounded in the belief that art can transcend the mundane, offering viewers a glimpse into the complexities of the human experience.
Inspired by personal experiences, cultural background, nature, and other artists, I strive to capture the essence of who I am through my expressions in art. My pieces often incorporate acrylic paint with paintbrush, and with an airbrush, flow art and clay sculpturing on canvas. Through these techniques, my illustrations get the look and feel of 2-D and 3-D effect that I use to create a dialogue between the artwork and the observer.
Each creation emerges from a fusion of clay sculpting, acrylic paint process, e.g., spontaneity and intention, experimentation and tradition. I aim to challenge perceptions and invite viewers to engage with their own interpretations. Through the process of layering, contrasting colors, and juxtaposing materials, I hope to bring forth a sense of emotions or concepts, such as harmony, tension, and curiosity.
Art, for me, is a journey—one that reflects my growth, introspection, and connection to the world around me. I seek to inspire others to ponder their own narratives and embrace the beauty of uncertainty. Ultimately, my goal is to create pieces that resonate on a personal level, encouraging reflection and connection.
Thank you for joining me on this artistic exploration. I invite you to step into my world and discover your own stories within the layers of my work.
